To live internationally in a body is to commit everyone to common choices while accepting different ways of putting them into practices according to the constitution.
As Helpers, we choose to live poverty, chastity and obedience as we recognize and want to proclaim that another way exists and that this way leads to happiness.
- To live poverty, personally but also in community and for all to be responsible for our poverty. Thus in the search for poverty, to find one’s own realization, one’s own happiness.
- To live obedience, to submit one’s own life and choices to others, to refuse individualism, to abandon the solidarity search for one’s own god and to accept the word of another. Thus, in the search for obedience, to find one’s own realization, one’s own happiness.
- To live celibacy and chastity in every relationship, in avoiding violence and the exploitation of the other; to live and work with whomever without seeking one’s own interest in a society wherein relationships are selective, instruments of power and where the human body is merchandise. Thus, in the search for chastity, to find one’s own realization and one’s happiness.
